The holiday season is nearly upon us, and Aislaby is ready to make this December extra special with a host of festive events for all to enjoy.
From a Christmas Afternoon Tea to a grand parade with Santa, wreath-making, and plenty of community fun, there’s something for everyone in our charming village. Christmas Afternoon Tea – November 30th
Start your Christmas season with a festive treat at Aislaby Village Hall on Saturday, November 30th, at 2:30 PM.
Enjoy a delicious Christmas Afternoon Tea featuring finger sandwiches, cakes, mince pies, and more. Tickets are £7 for adults and £3 for children, and it’s a lovely way to spend a cozy afternoon with family and friends.
There will also be a raffle and tombola with great prizes to win, plus live festival music from Liz Hyndes and friendsto set the holiday mood.
Don’t miss this festive gathering — it’s sure to be a highlight of the season!
Wreath-Making Workshop – December 2nd
On Monday, December 2nd, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, join us at Aislaby Village Hall for a fun and creative Wreath-Making Workshop.
For just £12 per person, you’ll have all the materials needed to craft your very own beautiful Christmas wreath. It’s the perfect way to get into the festive spirit while creating a stunning decoration for your home.
No prior experience is needed — just bring your festive cheer and creativity!

Aislaby Christmas Extravaganza – December 5th
Get ready for an evening of festive fun at the Aislaby Christmas Extravaganza on Thursday, December 5th, starting at 6:00pm.
Reindeer, Santa, and the Parade
Join us at View of Beauty to watch Santa and his reindeer make their grand arrival during the Christmas Parade. The parade kicks off at 6:00 PM at View of Beauty, so be sure to come early, cheer for Father Christmas, and enjoy the magical holiday atmosphere as the parade moves through the village.
Warm Drinks and Christmas Tree Wishes
Head over to Aislaby Village Hall for some hot tea and coffee, and don’t forget to stop by the Christmas Tree
Santa’s Grotto at The Forge
After the parade, make your way to The Forge to visit Santa’s Grotto. Children can meet Father Christmas, share their Christmas wishes, and even take a photo with Santa and even feed the reindeer.
You can also have a warming glass of mulled wine by the open fire. It’s the perfect way to relax after the parade and enjoy the cozy atmosphere with friends and family.
Tombola for Maxis Mates
While at The Forge, don’t miss the tombola stall in aid of Maxis Mates, a fantastic local charity supporting dogs in need. You’ll have the chance to win some great prizes, all while supporting a worthy cause.
Whitby Young Farmers Christmas Draw & Domino Drive – December 10th
Looking for some friendly competition and a chance to win great prizes? Join us for the Whitby Young Farmers Christmas Draw & Domino Drive on Tuesday, December 10th, at 7:30pm at Aislaby Village Hall.
For just £2 per player, you can take part in the domino drive and be in with a chance to win fantastic prizes in the Christmas Draw. Draw tickets can be purchased in advance by messaging the organisers or on the night itself.
Don’t forget to bring your pennies for the draw, and enjoy some festival refreshments while you play and mingle!
