Romantic couple looking out over the north sea
I’m delighted to introduce you to Seafern Adventures one of our activity providers offering guided cycling holidays here at the Yorkshire Coast from Aislaby Hall. We hope you’ll enjoy hearing a bit more about them.

Seafern Adventures have been offering guided cycling holidays in recent years for groups of women wanting to explore on two wheels without the time pressures of touring holidays.

Cycling on the Yorkshire Coast

The Yorkshire Coast has always been incredibly popular, because it enables us to explore popular coastal towns and villages like Robin Hoods Bay, Whitby and Scarborough. Circular routes incorporating sections of the Cinder Track, a traffic-free former railway line, provide miles of stunning sea views. This location is one of our favourites for the fresh air, sea views and that holiday feeling you only get when you’re at the coast.

Our holidays are hosted by women for women. The emphasis is on exploring, pausing to connect with nature and sampling the best local delicacies that café stops like Bothams have to offer.

Fully qualified cycling guides

The holidays are designed to provide a range of benefits, including relaxation, adventure and the opportunity to cycle from a single luxury accommodation base. All our guides are qualified with British Cycling and are able to offer coaching training.

This is what one of our guests had to say about this guided cycling holiday last year...

"Jill is an excellent host and Sarah is an expert guide. Sarah is encouraging, welcoming and professional at all times but at the same time has a great sense of fun. I Highly recommend this holiday at the Yorkshire Coast - Cath , 02 Sep 2025"

By staying at Aislaby Hall or the Garden Apartment, you’ll experience the best of both worlds: the beauty of Whitby and the North Yorkshire coast, combined with the adventures of a guided cycling holiday.
